Deluxohost scheduled infrastructure migration

#1
Hello everyone,

we would like to inform you about a scheduled infrastructure migration that will affect some active services.

please note that a detailed email has already been sent to all affected customers with service-specific information, and we strongly recommend reading it carefully.

The migration is scheduled for Tuesday, February 18, 2026, starting at 06:30 AM (CET). During the operation, the affected services will be completely offline. The estimated duration of the migration is approximately eight hours; this is a technical estimate and the activities may complete earlier or take longer depending on operational conditions.

This migration involves moving services from the nLighten AMS-01 data center to Qupra DC-01. Both facilities are located in Amsterdam, therefore no changes in latency or geographic location are expected. The new data center will be fully operational, connected, and verified before any service is brought back online.

We want to be transparent about the reasons behind this decision. The current facility has reached its space capacity limits and is affected by power constraints that significantly limit further infrastructure growth. Although a data center migration requires major investment and planning, we strongly believe this step is necessary to ensure long-term stability, scalability, and reliability.

We are also fully aware that this maintenance may be stressful and frustrating, especially considering the challenges faced in recent months, including uptime issues, DDoS attacks, routing problems, and other operational difficulties. These issues are being actively addressed every day, and while many major problems have already been resolved, further improvements are still ongoing. This migration is part of a broader effort to remove structural limitations and build a more resilient infrastructure moving forward.

With the move to Qupra DC-01, we aim to significantly improve the overall customer experience, increase infrastructure scalability and reliability, implement major network upgrades with new hardware, higher redundancy, and a new spine-based network architecture, and benefit from more favorable cost conditions that allow us to keep our pricing competitive.

Although no data loss is expected, we strongly require all customers to perform a full backup of their services at least 24 hours before the migration. Deluxhost cannot be held responsible for any potential data loss. For additional safety, a backup reminder email will be sent approximately one week before the scheduled date.

We sincerely thank you for your patience and continued trust in Deluxhost. If you have any questions or concerns, our support team is always available to assist you.
